How Thalla Started: Accelerating Human Potential
Jul 8, 2024

Introduction
The story of Thalla began with an unexpected connection during an event in Singapore. What started as a casual dinner conversation evolved into a transformative vision for accelerating human potential through AI.
Daniel Salinas was preparing to fly to Tokyo when he attended a Babson-organized dinner in Singapore. There, he met Khailee Ng, the managing partner of 500 Global in Malaysia. The two quickly connected, exchanging ideas about innovation and human potential.
Even as Daniel headed to Mexico for an internship with Simon Borrero at Rappi, the connection remained strong. Over time, their conversations grew into a shared passion for creating tools that could expand what humans are capable of achieving.
A Vision for Human Potential
Daniel and Khailee both believed in the power of technology to amplify productivity, creativity, and personal growth. They envisioned AI as a tool not to replace humans but to empower them to do more, better.
This vision became the foundation of Thalla: a platform inspired by the hypothalamus, the brain’s command center, to serve as the ultimate assistant.
The Mission Behind Thalla
Thalla’s mission is simple yet ambitious: to help people focus on what truly matters by making AI intuitive and accessible. It’s a journey rooted in the belief that human potential is limitless when supported by the right tools.
From a chance meeting in Singapore to a shared drive to create meaningful impact, Thalla is the result of passion, collaboration, and a vision to make the world smarter, faster, and more connected.
